The Importance of Understanding Yourself

I had butt surgery in a breast clinic in Thailand about a decade ago. The thing I'd really like biblical scholars to learn from philosophical theologians is to buy my book. It's very hard when you're around people who will just say, you know, just read the Bible. And I just want them to appreciate how radically different their set of eyes are in a Western 21st century context from a first century Jewish context.
