The Lot Is Cast Into the Lap of the Lord

Proverbs 18 18 says the lot puts an end to quarrels and it decides between two powerful contenders in first Samuel chapter 10 before David was King Saul. The way that King Saul was found and was anointed was by casting lots. Even for a man who was hiding sin for a manwho was hiding from the Lord it was by lot that he was found.
