For indigenous peoples, hunting is really a big, a bigger part of ayahuasca than healing. And so there's this incredible dynamism and some of these shamans are famous for being imps or bricolors who sort of combine things to create something new. I think we have to look on indigenous people as romanticized in the past - they're carriers of a, of a nostalgic idea that we can't stay away from the past. But when you lose the forest...you lose everything!
