Dr. Edward Carr, a lead author of the IPCC report on climate resilient development pathways says companies and investors need to make transformational change for their future. "We've done so much to the Earth's environment at this point that it is starting to impinge upon our ability to do things in a business as usual kind of way," he said. He added there will be costs associated with transformation but these are not new or different than those associated with adapting to climate change.
