Introduction
Paul writes to a church at Corinth about some terrible personal tragedy. Something so awful had happened to Paul that he calls it a sentence of death. That he despaired for his life. But amid the pain he discovered that God bestowed upon him a gift of comfort. This divine gift of comfort turned out to be more than he needed. And when that comfort overflowed, there was enough to bless his congregation's lives.
