As we get bigger as mammals we require less energy given our size to move around so we're more efficient. And that gives us this economic skill, which is why humans now live for around 100 years. Now over half the planet lives in cities, and in all developed countries, more than 80% of the people live in cities. The future of the planet, the very questions of sustainability of the planet are truly bound up with understanding cities.
