The Health Benefits of Vacation
Dr. DeBlum: Not taking annual vacations was significantly associated with the higher risk for morbidity and even mortality due to heart attacks. In my own research, I followed them people that take a vacation, and I followed them before, during and after their holidays. And also there, I found that people's health and well-being drastically increased right when they go on the holiday.
