Christianity has always had a deep compassion for victims, but now it's like being weaponized. The marginalized and the oppressed have the right to demand of other people that they should exclude them from church. So we're returning to an ancient religion of purity in which strangers weren't allowed into the temple at all. "I talk about monsters a lot, I talk about margins and I talk about idiosyncrasy," he says.
