Pen and Paper

As a creative i've noticed that the biggest benefit of the analogue supplement to the digital system, has been recognizing which types of ideas are worth being inefficient with. When you're talking about developing an idea, it's not a short path bettween a to b to finished product. You do need to give yourself time to noodle on things and to connect dots in new and interesting ways. And using pen and paper, for me, that's kind of the ideal case there is. That forces me to slow down, and it forces my brain to be engaged.
