Hezekiah and the Assyrians

The assyrians would hunt down and murder the main officials of lakish. Lakish would end up defeated and abandoned. The afterman, sanakerib, would send his main army officials off to the judaan capital city of jerusalem. Hezekiah set about working on the defence of the city. And it may well be that he actually built an aqueduct called the siloum tunnel which could be the very same tunnel described in the hebrew bible.
