I'll Try to Like Tempest My Attitude Now.
I just think he's a terrible theorist. He says so many contradictory things. If you don't ever have to really clarify your method or the actual nature of the causal claim that you're making, what kind of claim are you making? I'll try to turn in a more generous direction at some point. But what really drives me nuts about Weber and why I told you guys in our group chat that I just low key really hate him, is that I think he encourages fake nuance and fake sophistication.
