efpepsy has worked with us for years, under the cover of darkness, to decrease the size of packaging. The message of that story though is they pulled a lot of margin out of that exercise. And now when you bump up the price marginally on a smaller packaging, it's an even stronger exercise in pricing power,. sort of invisible to us.
Pepsi is not an obvious candidate if you're looking for companies with pricing power, but the latest quarter proves Pepsi's got it.
