Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gogre in Lucretia

While in Paris Van Gogh met the French post Impressionist painter Paul Gogre an artist who was to have a huge impact on him. Vincent very much wanted about what an Australian artist John Peter Russell had in the north of France on Beliele and perhaps replicate that in a family way in the south of France with Arl having artists for gathering, talking, eating, discussing you know life so Gogre and another artist were invited  and Vincent became very excited. When Gogre arrived at Lucretia he saw himself very much as the leader "first of all was I think quite condescending" says Louis. He then began to tell Vincent what he should do
