The Specially Created Soul in the Teaching of St. Thomas
There's a tremendous amount of potential in this thesis for discussing things like identity, which is a very hot topic. The specially created soul is something that is there in the teaching of St. Thomas that should be discussed more. I think what substance dualism is, is a philosophy that starts from that experience of spirit and this interiority and sort of falls into saying, that's the real me. And then the body is like something outside that's kind of attached or had or extrinsically modifying it in some way.
