Food Dates Aren't About Safety, Emily Says

Emily says she's talked to lawmakers who got food date laws passed in their states. One state requires date labels on milk and another requires them on eggs. Some states don't require any food to have any kind of date at all, like new york. The federal government doesn't actually ire dates on any food except baby formula.
