Do You Have a Case Report of Auto Resuscitation?
There are dozens of reports in the literature. The suspicion is that this is almost certainly under reported, because people are probably loath to write a case report where they say they've declared someone dead and they've actually come back to life. But more than 50 % of i c u doctors and e d ed doctors report either personal experience or knowledge of cases of auto resuscitation. And it's worth asking whether or not denice darval was dead when this first heart transplant was successfully performed. So we're going to end with really some recommendations for what a 20 first try death exam might look like,. based on the historical arc and based on some of these ethical controversies.
