Revenge Porn Still Found Its Way to Capitol Hill
As of December 2019, there are still no revenge porn laws at the federal level in the United States. Since 2013, 46 of the 50 states have passed some kind of anti-revenge porn legislation. Only Wyoming, Mississippi, South Carolina and Massachusetts have yet to act. But even with the legislation in place and Hunter Moore locked away, revenge porn is alive and well. In addition to Kevin Boleert's You Got Posted, another copycat website called IsAnybodyDown.com was shut down by the FTC in 2015. Afterwards, a man named Craig Britton attempted to run for the Congressional seat vacated by Arizona Senator Jeff Flake but never made it out of the primaries.
