How to Be a Systematic Trend Following Trader
In the late 90s, trend following didn't work very well and it hasn't worked well since. I'd rather look at something with a shorter time span, keep that two or three week look back. Your typical outlier might be 20 ATRs versus my typical outlier may be over 100 ATRs. And so I think having that in your mind is a good mentality to have.
