The Role of Ethics in the Origins of Cell Lines
If you have some particular angle of research that, you know, you're not going to be involved with problematic cell lines. You might even think of it as there will be some opportunities for discussions where I'll be able to influence lab mates around the question of the origins of these cells. Sometimes scientists haven't even begun to process that. They just know this is a workhorse cell line. Everybody uses it. And they don't know about the problematic origins in any kind of detail.
