How Photography Remains a Strange Effect

Photography retains this strangeness. It's not just that it was novel at the time. People didn't know. That's what we tell ourselves. But photography keeps generating these effects. And what you do in this book, as you you yourself show us these effects in action. Like one of my favorite photos is the one where the medium's hand is enlarged.
