Halina is our female two-fingered sloth. She's having her exercise this afternoon before she ventures inside for one of many respites sleep bites that she needs outside here. Sloths always have at least one limb holding a branch or something in reach you won't ever see them asleep without holding on to something their sleep pattern is very unique so they sleep for 15 plus hours a day and again that's a lot to do with their digestive system. When they sleep they're not truly sleeping what's that mean we call it active rest? They may have their eyes shut but there's a reason to it, he says.
