Left Ventricular Non-Compaction

There are three forms of left ventricular non-compaction, essentially a genetic sporadic and acquired form. Genetic form is important to remember that there are gene overlaps that are shared with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy,. The acquired forms that you may see in clinical practice are hypertrobiculation and athletes or highly trained athletes. Patients with long-standing hypertension and African-American patients can also be diagnosed through aquacardiography.
