The Lost Ships of the Franklin Expedition

HM ships Terror and Arabis were deserted on 22 April, 1848. Canada had been hoping that finding these ships would help strengthen their claims to this turf. The international battle for Arctic territory has only become more complicated in recent years as world powers all fight for the region's resources.
