The EFL's Regulations on Takeovers

There are quite a lot of legalities involved. It certainly makes a difference depending on how many parties and groups feature in a takeover. If you have essentially one unit who are being legionated out, for example, you probably have fewer people to go through. When you're a group like 49ers Enterprises, which is a collection of different individuals, different parties, it probably does bump up the amount of paperwork that needs to be done. The club certainly hoped it would be done by now. And as we speak this morning, we still don't have a head coach in place. So definitely wanted that resolved by this point.
