i was a great aviation fans, as a lot of boys and girls are. The whole idea of flying just struck me as a wonderful escapist fhantasy. And for a long time, i thought what i wanted to do, really on through high school, i thought i wanted to be a pilot. But eventually it dawned on me that really what i wanted To write books is what i had been doing from the beginning. I wrote about those childhood clues to vocation that we should help each other remember.
