Sonata Form - The Second Theme Repeats All Over Again
This is not a traditional first movement exposition repeat, something that had almost completely fallen out of use by the time sabelius had gotten his hands on a symphony. But at least the second theme ends where it beganand now notice that the theme is outlining both a major thirdand a chromatic scale. Everything is still growing organically out of the elements of the beginning. And then, amazingly, everything basically repeats all over again.
