Charlotte Cordet's Assassination
Charlotte Cordet was guillotined for the death of Jean Paul Morat. Her actions kicked off a wave of violence against counter-revolutionaries and royalists. The murder may have also led to the banning of women's political clubs in France. Jacques-Louis David was given two tasks, plan his friend's funeral and paint his death scene.
