Connie Converse's family believed she killed herself, most likely by driving into a lake or a river. Her body was never found and her social security number was never registered as a death. A few years after that, someone told Phil they'd found an Elizabeth Converse in a phone book. He says he wouldn't have called the number or shown up at her door. "I would be embarrassed to show up on her doorstep and say, hey, what's going on? I know it might sound ghastly"
