Ambassador Varma says the umbilical cord of educational connectivity between India and Bhutan is slightly frayed because earlier thousands of Bhutanese students used to come naturally to India to study. The next generation going to countries like Thailand, Australia and Singapore when it comes to China perhaps in your time China was not a presence at all but in the last few years we have seen China was able to give Bhutanese some vaccines although they didn't use them but they did accept them. There are cultural exchanges including a recent program by Chinese cultural troop in Timpoo.
