Introduction
Theatre goers in Manchester saw the police swooping on the theatre when there was an altercation after some members of the audience started doing this at a production of The Bodyguard. More diverse shows are going to attract a more diverse audience, and they might behave differently if they're encouraged to like tap along or work or cheer as they were at some of the shows. And then throw in the fact that theatres are trying to be a bit more diverse anyway by kind of offering cheaper tickets and deals for younger people, that means there's definitely some change in the air.
