The Future of Telemedicine
3D telemedicine is being used in a medical setting. It's not actually performing surgery with the system or it's not diagnosing and anything. Our vision is where else do we need this? Right now it's been showcased as this amazing way to bring international expertise to one operating theater, you know, with specialists from around the world as needed. We hope to expand at what we're doing in Scotland to rural areas of Scotland that can't get to their hospitals. Other possible applications is like, can we make this system mobile? You can imagine like a clinical unit where this system drives out to remote villages.
