The author says that developmental approaches can tell us an enormous quite a bit about where we are, where we're going, what we can expect and so on. Studies show another two or three, in some cases, four stages of development beyond the post modern. Beyond green, there are heel stages, turquoise stages. These two stages are generally referred to as now as second ter stages,. They bring a particular type of wholeness or wholism that is lacking in all the previous so called first her stages. And then when we get the move from first tier to second steer, claire graves calls it a monumental shift and a cataclysmic shift in meaning.
