I Didn't See Shawn and Eliot Getting Together on the Show

I'm at the now where i don't see j d and elliot getting together though on the show, even though i know what happens at the end. It feels like at this point in the show that the two of them getting together isn't isn't a possibility. They don't den out on the same page any more. So at the end when shawn, when he says to her, you look beautiful, and then sh Shawn steps out. I didn't see that coming. And all of a sudden, fakin scot foly, nobody cares. In id a blue, tight sweater? When did no care saw im come in? Thats jus always in this
