A crystal or a crystal in solid is a material where those atoms or molecules are arranged in a very ordered microscopic structure. So like the big crystals that you see, the really pretty ones with surface faces that are aligned to the like the internal symmetry and that are sheared along those faces. And materials can fall within these two extremes on this scale. Something can be more crystalline, which is more ordered, or something could be more amorphous, which isMore disordered.
