The Fittingness of Salvation

I think it's amazing that this writer should say God acted in a fitting way. Or it is fitting that he acted the way he acted. Because to me, I'm prone to simply say, look, you don't probe into whether what God has done is fitting. But this writer evidently thinks it's okay to ask that question. Is this a fitting way to do salvation? And you know why he does that? Because it's one way of not neglecting your great salvation.
