The Hardest Part of Parenting Is Parenting

Every tantrum is a call for closeness and like, I want you to see me. It's one of those things though where as much as you can rationalize it and intellectualize it after the fact or even during the fact, it's still stressful as fuck. And there is a reason why this is so triggering. Like why don't I have patience with my kid? But if you look at it, it's like the hardest part of parenting is dealing with your own emotions. You got to heal your own inner child in order to raise your kids. Sorry if I cough a few times guys. I've had a chest infection for the last week. It's really hard.
