Is Language a Precursor for Invention?
i'm struck that there are humans who don't have language as a result of a stroke. I mean, couldn't one argue it was the emergence of consciousness to a certain degree, or m that even language enabled us to have this kind of scientific thinking? Im not sure that languages is a necessary sort of precursor for invention. But i guess the other way you could look at this question is an we know that monkeys and apes an can see patterns a - but that's not necessarily going to give you invention. Just being ablet just being able to learn the association between two, two items, if you like, or even doing that in sequence. That doesn't add up to this,
