The Higgs Boson and the SSC

The Higgs boson is a particle that interacts with all of the other particles that have mass. If it didn't exist, there would be no way for these particles to be massive. And so our world would look completely different. The fact that it actually interacts then with all particles that are massive means that,. you know, if you've ever read the Tolkien's, the Lord of the Rings, there is one ring that rules. Yeah.
