Isaiah's Dream of a Setterfly
In the Bible, creatures with wings are always described in God's presence as being animal-like. The word seraph means snake; you're supposed to imagine some kind of reptilian multi-winged creatures and so on. Isaiah is terrified that he's going to get incinerated on the spot for touching a hot coal. He uses this now as an image of his own moral corruption.
