The Power of Narrative in Apologetics
In confessions in city of god they're both in some sense telling a story. Augustine brings those two genres not the only genres he has but he certainly in confessions seems to be utilizing that in a pretty powerful way yeah. People are more than okay with worshiping something that is not the one true god and so we're going back to the guss and saying no yes we all worship something but this is why we need to worship the one true God and not anything elseYeah i think you really see um i think for our age when when people especially are picking up on this the power of story and the power of narrative.
