The Rise and Fall of AOL

AOL's Ted Leonsis led AOL Studios, a division of the company dedicated to finding, promoting or even producing content for AOL. Leonsis had a vision for making AOL Studios into a quote, real studio that would rival movies and television in creating original content. The overriding strategy was to try to create content that could compete in interest and value with what was popping up all over the web. But customers did not revolt; almost overnight AOL had some invaluable new revenue streams.
