McCarthy's Procedural Concessions

GOP Rep. Kevin McCarthy is trying to get a deal on the debt ceiling and spending cuts with Democrats, but he could hit a snag in this rules committee. The agreement includes policy changes to work requirements for the TAMP and SNAP programs, including time limits for SNAP recipients up to age 54. It also doesn't touch Biden's student debt relief plan, which frankly, I think the courts are going to do the work on that anyway. And it does look like some of the IRS funding will get clawed back, but probably tossed to other domestic things.
