Martin McDonough's Rebuild Boards

I'm a huge fan of Martin McDonough's films. I thought the rebuild boards outside of being Missouri was simultaneously like his most complex film and also probably his worst film. And this feels like a really amazing kind of return to the person that I fell in love with because not just because of Ireland, though that's obviously a huge part of it and he feels more comfortable. It reminds me a little bit of that conversation in the white lotus. So that's a way of saying it's very boy stuff, but that I don't mean that in a dismissive way.
