Cecil: "This is a free country, Cecil. You cannot curtail the freedom of some citizens" He says he doesn't protect Carlos because he hates his freedom; he protects him because he loves Night Vale and its people. The radio host then calls Carlos to bail him out of jail for practicing science in public. CECIL: "I am very angry at you, but I remain most angry at the University of what it is."
