Explosion of the Tunnel
Workers in the mine frequently reported hearing the anguishing voice of men crying out in pain. They said they saw ost miners carrying picks and shovels, only to watch them vanish moments later. The people in the village near by told tales of odd shapes and muffled cries near the covered pit. Highly educated people, upon visiting the construction site, corded similar experiences. After that, the workers began to call the tunnel by another name, the bloody pit, ketchy.
