Getting a Diagnosis as a Child or as an Adult?

I just want people to appreciate my effort, you know, even if it's not enough tnow. I feel like a telling people that we're doing our best. They can't expect from us what they would expect from an arotypical person. Just because we have the same disorder doesn't mean we see things the same way. That's but one of the harshest realities i face,. and so we all face, is that we can be very different from people we'resupposed to relate to.
