Is the Sacrament a Sign of Faith?

It's ays we join faith with them. So i receive the sacrament. That's god's promise to me, and i trust in that promise. To receive the benefits of it to me. My faith simply accepts what is objectively there and real. And this question stems back to a controversy i in the ancient church called the donatis controversy,. The validity of the sacrament depends on both the one performing the sacrament and the one receiving the sacrament.
