The Importance of Retention in College Football

The big concern here, the flags that are being raised isn't about Penn State signing a great freshman class for 2024. It's about Penn State being able to retain their 2023 stars. And make sure they don't end up with other Power Five players in 2024 finishing out their career elsewhere. If you want to be in that small cluster that competes for national championships on a perennial level, you really can't afford to slip up in these next two to three years and maybe even shorter period than that.
