At 13, you're reading novels for the first time. I'm curious at what age or what moment did you realize you were an incredible writer or you had potential as a writer? Probably in high school when I started writing more like essays, things that were longer. And so the idea grew in my head. The dream was still there and it made it so I never gave up. So I was frustrated, but it was like, okay, someday you're going to make this happen.
