Slow Louris's Venomous Bite
The slow louris's venomous bite is extremely toxic, incredibly painful and ghastly enough to cause its victim to lose an eye. The researchers also found that the males were bitten more often than the females. And how do we know these bites weren't the result of another preditor, like a snake or an orangatan? Oh, so according to the researchers, only one sloloris during this whole eight year time period was lost to apreditor. So if the slow lorises weren't fighting a preditor up, they were fighting off each other.
